Chemin de Bonshommes 2024
Baga
The Chemin de Bonshommes starts in Foix and continues to Berga in Spain. Port-la-Nouvelle and ends in Foix. You can walk this tour in about 12 days. There are different overnight options. Hotels, chambre d’hotes, auberge, gite or a refuge.
Peter and Anita opted for a shortened part of this tour in 2016. Together with Bergtoppers the following program was composed:
Chemin de Bonshommes
from Montsegur to Baga
- Day 1: arrival in Baga and spend the night in the hotel based on Bed&Breakfast.
- Day 2: transfer by Bergtoppers to Montsegur: Hike from Comus and spend the night in the gite based on 1/2 board.
- Day 3: hike to Chioula and spend the night in the refuge based on 1/2 board.
- Day 4: hike to Merens les Vals and spend the night in the gite based on 1/2 board.
- Day 5: hike to Besines and spend the night in the refuge based on 1/2 board.
- Day 6: hike to Porta and spend the night in the gite based on 1/2 board.
- Day 7: hike to Prullans and spend the night in the hotel based on Bed&Breakfast.
- Day 8: hike to Cortals and spend the night in the refuge based on 1/2 board.
- Day 9: hike to Baga and spend the night in the hotel based on Bed&Breakfast.
- Day 10: leave from Baga to Holland
every day transport of the luggage and als extra servic a transfer on the firt day to Montsegur. Now you can walk to your car.
The price for this program is about 1400 euros (2 people) in 2016.
If you would do this program in 2023, without luggage transfer and 2 people the price would be about 1430 euros.
Luggage transport is about 750 euros.
