Hiking with your family

Since 2006 we made a special page for families. We calculate a family as 3 persons for the hikes even if you have more….
We developed already 4 family programs where you start at Bergtoppers. Each program has a minimal age for the children. You can sleep in the cabin or the gite. From there you walk to some other accommodations where you stay one or more nights. So the family programs are a combination of a fixed location program and a cabin to cabin program. Of course you can also choose for a regular self lead program.

Groups for family’s, trekking with children

we planned several weeks for familys who want to join other familys. A group journey for familys with a guide for children older than 9 years and a group journey for familys without guidance for children older than 6 years. We took the family Dreu program, the family Berk program and the family Mul program as basic.
The Group Family Dreu program starts on July 6, 20 and August 3.
The Group Family Berk program starts on July 13 and 27 of July and August 3.
The Group Family Mul program starts on July 13, 20 and 27 of July.

Walking with children from 4 years or older

With the family program Visser you spend the first 3 nights at the Bergtoppers or another loction and the next days you go to some other gites. The tracks can be changed depending on the motivation of the children (or parents). The first 2 days you walk to a real mountain lake en you make a circulair tour. The next days you go to some other accommodations.
Because there are some variabel tracks, the hiking times are also variabel.

Walking with children from 6 years or older

With the family program Dreu you spend the first 2 nights at the Bergtoppers or another location and the next days you spend 2 night in a very comforatbale gite and 2 nights in a real mountain cabin. Let this week surpise you!
The groupprogram starts on 6 and 20 of July and on August 3.

Walking with children from 8 years or older

If you choose the family program Berk you spent the first 3 nights at our place or another location and the next 3 nights you go to different accommodations. The hikes can be changed according to the level and/or the motivation of the family members. The first 2 days you walk to the paradise and to Cascade d’Ars near Aulus les Bains. The next days you go to some other accommodations. You can choose your hikes so the walking times are variable.
The groupprogram starts on 13 and 27 of July and August 10.

Walking with children from 10 years or older

If you choose the family program Mul you spent the first 4 nights in the gite in Ustou and the next time you make a 3-days hike where you sleep in an auberge and a refuge.
Last day is in the same auberge as on wednesdag.
